The water phase is the internal or dispersed phase, and the oil is the external or dispersing medium.

3. Water-in-water

At the beginning of the 21st century, China began to introduce foreign technology and started to develop water-in-water, putting it into the market for testing and adjusting research directions based on feedback data. Through continuous attempts, the product was rapidly promoted and developed. Water-in-water multicolor marble paint is a pure water-based coating, which is environmentally friendly during construction, has high strength and good weather resistance, can withstand changing environments, has high simulation, and variable colors without any restrictions.

4. Water-based sand

Water-based sand technology was developed on the basis of water-in-water. After years of technical accumulation, since 2015, water-based sand has gradually replaced water-in-water and has been widely recognized by the market. Up to now, it has become the ideal product for exterior wall multicolor coatings in building materials.

IIChanges in Stone-like Effects

1. Natural sand real stone paint

Mainly uses various colors of natural colored sand as aggregate and emulsion as base material, with various additives. It is used for stone-like effects on building exterior walls. High-quality real stone paint usually uses pure acrylic emulsion, with a content of about 15%. There is no effective film formation between the colored sands, so dust can penetrate into the coating and is not easy to clean. The simulation degree of natural sand real stone paint can reach 90%, but the color is relatively single, and the types of stone imitation are limited. It can only imitate hue and texture, but cannot restore the pattern.

2. Rock chip real stone paint

Mainly made of silicone-acrylic emulsion, special rock chips, natural stone powder, and additives through special processes. By controlling the size and color of the added rock chips, the similarity to granite is greatly improved. However, the construction requirements are high, paint consumption is large, and self-cleaning is poor.

3. Multicolor rock chip paint

Multicolor rock chip paint has strong sealing and high simulation, but there are many types and models of rock chips, making it difficult to control. Like rock chip real stone paint, it also has high construction requirements and large paint consumption.

4. Multicolor stone-like paint - water-in-water

Made of modified resin and highly stable pigments, it is a fully water-based, one-time spray pure emulsion multicolor granite coating. Compared with the previous three stone-like effects, water-in-water has further improved, with more realistic and durable colors, a smoother surface, less dust accumulation, and longer-lasting appearance. However, as it is a glossy surface, the texture is slightly inferior and cannot show the granite pattern.

5. Multicolor stone-like paint - water-based sand

Water-based sand uses a variety of natural and environmentally friendly raw materials, combining system formulas to recombine natural sand and restore the color and characteristics of stone surfaces in a water-based coating.

① Good toughness, no cracking

With 30-40% silicone-acrylic emulsion, water-based sand can achieve curling without cracking. The surface is rough or lychee-like.

② Highly restores stone effect

The pattern has a strong sense of layering and three-dimensionality, with a simulation effect of up to 95%.

③ Waterproof and breathable

Sand wall-like coating has certain breathability. At the same time, due to the limited sand content, the particle size is small and uniform, and after film formation, it can achieve both breathability and waterproof performance.

④ Good weather resistance

High emulsion content, water resistance, UV resistance, and a lifespan of several decades.
