Product Overview
Formaldehyde-Free Floor Interface Modifier (WHBM3802) adopts Wanhua’s formaldehyde-free technology, water-based and eco-friendly, with no intentional addition of formaldehyde, benzene, or their homologues. Excellent penetration densifies the floor substrate and enhances interfacial adhesion. Suitable for interface treatment prior to tile laying or wood flooring installation on cement floors.

Application Instructions & Precautions
1) Substrate Preparation: The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and level. Ensure moisture content ≤ 10%. Remove all dust, grease, oil, laitance and loose material. Repair cracks and voids prior to application.
2) Primer Application: Dilute the primer with clean water according to site conditions. Apply evenly with a roller in 1–2 coats. Ensure complete, uniform coverage without misses. For highly porous or absorbent substrates, apply a second coat once the first coat is touch-dry. After full drying, the treated surface must be firm and free from powdering.
3) Spatter-Dash / Texturing Coat: Mix cement with floor interface modifier at 1:1 by weight to form a thick slurry. Apply the mixture using a long-nap roller to create a textured spatter-dash coat. Do not dilute with additional water. Allow the textured coat to dry for at least 24 hours before proceeding with the next operation.
4) Application Conditions: Ambient temperature during application: ≥ 5 °C. Ensure adequate ventilation.

Storage Instructions
Store in a cool, dark, well-ventilated, and dry location at 5–35°C. Avoid direct sunlight and keep containers tightly sealed. Do not use empty containers to store food or other substances to avoid health or safety risks. Settling during storage is normal, stir thoroughly before use.
Shelf Life and Packaging
Production date is indicated on the spray code or certificate.
Shelf life: 18 months from the date of manufacture when stored under specified conditions.
Available in 20 kg/pail and 10 kg/pail.
