Formaldehyde-Free PureElegance Water-based Wall Paint adopts Wanhua’s formaldehyde-free technology with no intentional addition of formaldehyde, benzene, or their homologues. Application Instructions and Precautions
1) Application Methods: Roller, brush, or spray; recommended tools include short-nap rollers, wool brushes, or high-pressure airless spray guns.
2) Theoretical Coverage: 8–10 m²/kg per coat (based on 30 μm dry film thickness). Actual consumption varies with surface roughness and dilution ratio.
3) Dilution: Stir thoroughly before use. For optimal results, add no more than 20% water for roller/brush application; for spraying, add no more than 10% additional water. Excessive water increases film defects and reduces hiding power and fullness.
4) Application Environment: Do not apply if ambient temperature is below 5°C or relative humidity exceeds 85%, as optimal performance cannot be guaranteed.
5) Substrate Preparation: First, remove dust, stains, and loose particles. Then, ensure the surface is clean and dry with moisture content less than 10% and a pH value below 10. For old walls, start by removing the existing paint film with a scraper. Next, sand the surface smooth, and then re-treat it to ensure cleanliness, dryness, and flatness.
6) Wall Painting System: First, Apply formaldehyde-free putty for substrate preparation. After that followed by one coat of formaldehyde-free interior wall primer, and then follow up with two coats of formaldehyde-free PureElegance water-based wall paint.
7) Recoat Time: (based on 30 μm dry film, 25–30°C)
a) Surface dry: 30 min
b) Hard dry: 60 min
c) Recoat interval: at least 2 hours
8) Tool Cleaning: Clean tools with water immediately during breaks or upon completion.

Storage, Transportation, and Disposal Instructions
1) Storage: Store in a cool, dark, well-ventilated, and dry location at 5–35°C. Avoid direct sunlight and keep containers tightly sealed. Keep away from strong acids, alkalis, oxidants, food, and animal feed.
2) Transportation: Non-hazardous goods; transport as general cargo.
3) Disposal: Do not use empty containers to store food or other substances to avoid health or safety risks. Dispose of waste liquid in compliance with local environmental regulations.
Shelf Life and Packaging
Production date is indicated on the spray code or certificate.
Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored under specified conditions.
Available in 6.8 kg/pail and 24 kg/pail.
Safety Precautions
1) Wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE); avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or nose.
2) No allergic reactions in general population; seek medical attention if hypersensitivity occurs.
3) Ensure good ventilation before, during, and after application by opening doors and windows.
Environmental Protection
In case of spillage, cover with sand or soil, collect, and dispose properly. Prevent entry into sewers to avoid polymer sedimentation and clogging.
