Application Instructions & Precautions
1) Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, grease, oil and loose particles.
2) Nozzle Preparation: Cut the cartridge nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired bead size. Fit the nozzle and load into the caulking gun.
3) Gap Filling: Mask adjacent surfaces with tape. Hold gun at 45° and apply a continuous bead, ensuring complete filling of the joint. Tool the surface immediately with a spatula or soaping finger, then remove masking tape.
4) Bonding: Apply beads or dots of adhesive to one or both substrates as required. Press parts firmly together and hold in position.
5) Curing: Full cure of the MS woodworking installation Adhesive typically requires 24 hours or longer, depending on joint depth, temperature and humidity. Do not disturb the joint or remove fixings during this period.
6) Mould Resistance: This product achieves mould resistance rating Level 1 (ASTM D5590 / ISO 846). It is inherently mould-resistant but does not possess bactericidal properties. The substrate must be thoroughly cleaned and free of existing mould before application, otherwise performance may be compromised. Long-term immersion in oil or heavy oil contamination should be avoided, as oil can penetrate the cured sealant and promote mould growth under suitable temperature/humidity conditions.
7) Note: The above parameters are for reference only. Adjustments may be made according to actual site conditions. For the latest product information and safety instructions, please refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) or visit our official website.
